I really appreciate everything you all did for me and for all of Brody's gifts! We love you all so much and I know he is going to have four fabulous Aunt's!!!

My Madisonville Sprinkle!!!
I went home this past weekend to Madisonville for my first baby sprinkle! With your second baby you don't need a shower, you need a sprinkle! Get it?! Too cute! My best friends from high school all got together with their mom's and planned a wonderful party in honor of Brody!
The yummy food the girls worked hard on! There wasn't much left by the end of the night!
More food-the way to a pregnant girl's heart! And the delicious Welcome Brody cupcake cake!
In the middle of opening gifts, I realized that I wasn't having anyone take pictures! I only got a few snapshots, but this is one of the best- a UK onesie, UK hat, and UK socks for Brody! Brett loved it- NOT! He is a die hard VOLS fan! I love it!!!
And of course, by the time I realized I hadn't taken a picture with the girls, Layne had already left! Oops! Now, let me add that this was the first day I was swollen! I don't know if he was laying on a vein that night, but I felt huge and uncomfortable! It doesn't help either that I had stuffed myself full of food :o) Also, they tell you not to wear horizontal stripes because they make you look wide, but I think you can get away with it when you're pregnant!

My Birthday, Eight Months, and Labor Day Weekend!

He bought me a Flip Video, which we have been looking at purchasing for a while. It's a video camera that fits inside my purse and can record up to three hours! It's great to have for when we are on the go, especially since we will have Brody soon and I don't want to miss anything! The other great feature is that you can connect it straight to your computer and send videos via email! I'm so excited to be able to do this for all of my friends and family in Kentucky!

We had a great Labor Day Weekend and we were able to spend some time with our friends on Sunday! We went out on the river on our friend's boat and watched an awesome fireworks show! Of course, since it was late, we had to make a stop at the Waffle House on the way home!
Hunter starts preschool on Thursday and I don't even want to think about it! I'm so excited for him, but it makes me want to cry! I can't believe he is old enough to be going! Say some prayers on Thursday morning because I know I will be crying as I pull away from the church!

30 Weeks & a Few Days!

Excuse the bathroom I am in! You can see the stickers on the towel rack and Hunter's potty chart on the door! Potty training has been a blast- NOT! And doing it while pregnant, makes it double fun! I've had to learn over the past several months that this is one thing he can control and it's not easy for a child to give up something like this! He is doing well with it and we are very proud of him! I'm sure you all wanted to hear all about this :o)
We have Hunter's pre-school orientation tomorrow- tear :0( Is he really old enough?! I am excited for him though and I know it will be great for him to be in a structured/learning environment to prepare him for school. Bring out the tissues for mommy though!

Tummy Tuesday!
Can you believe I am seven months?! Brody weighs about two pounds and is roughly ten inches long, which is the average size of a zucchini! He takes about 20-30 minute naps and knows mine and Brett's voice! His taste buds are well developed and he can respond to sweet and sour tastes! I tend to get kicked when I drink something really cold as well! Sorry for the blurry picture!
This past weekend was tax free weekend in Tennessee! Of course I wanted to go shopping and look for baby clothes and some clothes for myself. After running a few errands Saturday, Brett and I decided to go to the outlets in Pigeon Forge. As I was shopping in the Children's Place, he told me he was going to go to Oakley. When I finished up, I went Oakley and couldn't find him. I called him to see where he was at and he told me he was buying something for me. I told him to meet me at Gap because I wanted to buy some comfy pants for when I have Brody! He walked in with a Coach shopping bag and inside was a diaper bag! What a SURPRISE! He said he figured mine was three years old and I needed a new one! What a sweetie!
He obviously picked it out himself and I think he did a great job! I can't wait to use it and I feel extremely lucky to have a husband that thinks/does this stuff for me!
My baby showers are quickly approaching and I can't wait to see all of my friends and family! My friend Lori is making a diaper wreath for me to hang on the door at the hospital and I can't wait to see it! She is so creative! I will make sure to post pictures! I hope everyone has a great week!

Bubba Gump Shrimp & More!
The Girl's Trip was a HUGE success! We had a wonderful time reminiscing, giggling/talking until 4:00 a.m. and of course eating! Although, can you believe we didn't take one picture? Not one! Which is fine with me considering I'm not really feeling photogenic these days! I was a terrible packer and forgot numerous things, including my camera. Sorry!

We enjoyed shopping at the outlets, walking around Gatlinburg, and eating everything in site! Our favorite meal was at Bubba Gump Shrimp! It was delicious, our waiter was hysterical, and everyone knows that I love movies! They quizzed us on our Forest Gump knowledge and I must say Layne was the champion!
It was a wonderful time and just what I needed! It did make me sad to see all of my childhood best friends leave, but no worries, I am going home to Madisonville in a month for my first baby shower!
I wanted to say thanks again to Layne for all of your hard work in putting this together! You found a great place for us to stay and you brought all of the goodies for the cabin! And as we always say, love ya girlie!
